There are 261 pieces of works by 87 people from all departments of Bi Zhan. The design concepts of the works are expressed by the auditory imagery of three sounds: "talking", "whispering" and "jumping". The first prize was won by "Lion and Cheng" in the "Caper" group. The author Lu Zhongwei used Tainan's sword lion as a totem for bag embroidery, and matched it with bright and young ivory white, emerald green, and living coral pink colors to show a sense of vitality. In addition, laser PU transparent cloth and leather were combined to deconstruct Embossed glass, which has been discontinued in Taiwan, combines leather with embroidery technology to show the concave and convex outline of the sword lion. The fresh and refined style, concise yet gorgeous style, was quite affirmed by the judges.
In addition, there is also a theme based on the coronavirus, using white and gray to match, using white as the main element with hollowing out and interlacing lines to make a combination, making different materials feel multi-layered. This exhibition also has many features, including environmental protection, waste utilization, packaging material recycling, etc., and also shows young people's care and attention to environmental protection. Dean Lin Yaling said, "Shh [shh]! Did you hear that?" reminding us of the power of silence and the importance of listening. Especially in this era of information explosion, with the connection of the Internet, the boundaries of the world have been dissolved, so various messages continue to attack our world, filling our lives with chaos and chaos. The ravages of COVID-19 not only allow us to redefine the interaction between people, but also allow us to exercise and shut down in a timely manner. Through isolation and disconnection, the world seems to be on the chain again, and a relatively calm parallel space-time bubble is isolated for re-examination itself. The "talking voice" reminds us of the importance of listening; the "whispering voice" tells us that all voices are meaningful; the "jumping voice" lets us know how to cherish. Sound is not sound, sound is message, melody, and the sound of nature is even more poetic. Through the transformation of sound imagery into design elements, it is presented in works, performances, vision and experience.
